Home
Home has one job: say what needs this person now, and put them back into their work in one press. It is not a directory of modules and not a feed of what everyone else did.
What it is for
- What is waiting, by name
- The items that need you are named one by one - a review, an approval, a course that is due - never a bare count.
- Back where you left off
- The documents, sites and apps you worked in last are one press away, and each opens the thing itself, not the section it lives in.
- Your own set of widgets
- Under the lead, each person arranges the widgets they want: their calendar, their cartable, a chart from Data Studio drawn under their own data rights.
- One search box
- The search on Home is the same search as everywhere: every kind of thing in Divan, trimmed to what you may open.
Getting started
- Open Divan: Home is the first screen.
- Read the lead - it names what needs you first.
- Press an item to go straight into it; nothing on Home opens a list one step too high.
Tasks
Arrange your widgets
- Open Home.
- Choose the widgets you want under the lead.
- They stay as you left them, on every device.
Find anything
- Press the search box, or Ctrl+K anywhere.
- Type a few words.
- Results are grouped by kind; each opens the thing itself.
Questions
Why do I not see what my colleagues did?
Home is about your work. What others did is in the place it happened: the chat, the site, the document.
Can an administrator fix my Home?
The lead is the same for everyone - what needs you. The widgets under it are each person's own.
