Workstation
Press one button and a desktop arrives in your browser, already signed in, where you left it: a browser, an office suite and your files. Its password is one nobody ever knew.
What it is for
- Yours, and it stays
- Each person has their own account and their own files. Close the tab; open it tomorrow from another machine; it is as you left it.
- Nothing to install
- The desktop is drawn in the platform's own session viewer. A browser is all the person needs.
- A password nobody knew
- The Vault makes the account and rotates its password. Signing in is the platform's job, not the person's.
- In English or Persian
- The desktop speaks the person's language.
- Rules set once
- Administrators decide the session rules for every workstation: copy out, paste in, how long a session may last.
Getting started
- Open Workstation from the rail.
- Press Open my workstation.
- Work. Close it when you are done - nothing is lost.
Tasks
Pick up where you left off
- Open Workstation on any machine.
- Press Open my workstation.
- The desktop is as you left it: the same windows, the same files.
Keep it beside your other work
- Open your workstation.
- Choose Open in a window.
- The desktop floats over the platform, next to the page you are on.
Questions
Can someone else open my workstation?
No. A workstation is its person's. It is not listed among the systems people share.
What does it look like?
A familiar desktop: a taskbar with a start menu, windows that snap to the edges, a browser, an office suite and a file manager.
